Levi Haltom joined the IUPUI Athletics Staff as Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach in November 2023. Haltom joined the Jaguars after having served as Director of Strength and Conditioning at East Washington School Corporation.Â
While at East Washington, Haltom trained both middle school and high school teams, managing and maintaining offseason, preseason and in-season programs for every team. The girls basketball team won the 2022 sectional title while the softball team collected back-to-back sectional titles and the first regional title in program history. Before that, he trained at Athletes True Performance Institute (ATPI), devising programming for athletics competing in baseball, basketball, hockey, lacrosse, soccer and volleyball. He primarily worked with youth, high school and college athletes while at ATPI.Â
Haltom has also worked at Spine and Joint Associates (SAJA), Beacon Sports Performance and Anytime Fitness. He served as a Strength and Conditioning Intern at Indiana State University from 2015-17, working with numerous Sycamore programs. He had the opportunity to train NFL draft eligible players in preparation for their respective pro days in the weight room, on the field and all agility tests.Â
Haltom is a registered Strength & Conditioning Coach and certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist with distinction. He's also a certified Speed and Agility Coach and Basketball Speed Specialist, while also a United States Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach.Â
