Brendon Cox joined the IUPUI Athletic Training staff in August 2023 and is the primary point of contact for men's basketball and women's tennis. Cox joined the program after spending a season at Mercer University.Â
Cox, an Indiana-native, also has past experience with the Pittsburgh Pirates, having served as a Minor League Athletic Trainer in Bradenton, Fla.Â
Cox did his undergraduate work at Indiana University before pursuing his Master's in Physical Education, Teaching and Coaching. He served as Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Southwest Minnesota State before joining the Pirates minor league staff.Â
