IU Indy Athletics

Former Ball State standout Allison Abbe joined the IU Indy women's soccer staff in July 2026 as an assistant coach. Abbe, a Plainfield, Ind.-native, made 53 appearances and 44 starts in her three-year Ball State career after beginning her collegiate career at the University of Cincinnati. 

In three seasons with the Cardinals, Abbe contributed six goals and nine assists, including a career-high six assists in 2017. 

Abbe later played professionally, including a two-year stint in Cyprus with Nea Salamina FC and a season with AIK Football Dam in Sweden. She later played for Valerenga in Norway and spent time with the Indy Eleven in the USLW. 

In addition, Abbe has gained coaching experience with USAI, coaching 12 and 13-year old teams.
