Head coach Pawel Gajdzik and IU Indy athletics added former Jaguar Samantha Hayward to the women's tennis staff prior to the 2023-24 season. Hayward begins her collegiate coaching career as a volunteer assistant coach for the Jags after playing five years of division one tennis.
Hayward was a five-year member of the IUPUI tennis program where she recorded 12 singles wins and 18 doubles wins, 17 with Meghan Bernard and one with Emma Dell during her final season. She earned Horizon League Doubles Team of the Week one time throughout her career. Hayward earned Horizon League All-Academic Honorable Mention and CSC Academic All-District Honors.
