Stephanie Palmeri joined the IUPUI women's swimming and diving staff in 2013 as an assistant coach following three years as an assistant coach for Long Island University-Post.
In her three years with the Pioneers, Palmeri watched the women's swimming team improve from fourth in the Metropolitan Conference Championships in 2011 to first last year. Last season, LIU Post also placed eighth at the D-II National Championships.
Palmeri swam for four years at LIU Post where she was a team captain, but she also Co-President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) during 2008-2009.
Palmeri set many individual and team records during her four-year career as a Pioneer and was also an NCAA qualifier in the 1650 free.
During her collegiate career, Palmeri also earned CSCAA Academic All-American Honorable Mention (2009) and CSCAA Team Academic All-American honors (2005-2008).
