Former college and prep All-American Abbie Houck joined the Jaguars' staff after having served as a volunteer coach at the University of Louisville. Houck, a native of Boulder, Colo., was a four-year letterwinner at Louisville from 2014-17 and had a very successful career as a Cardinal. She made the NCAA Championships three times and was an NCAA All-American twice. She was also named to the All-ACC team in both her freshman and sophomore years.
Before college, Houck swam for the North Jeffco Swim Team in Boulder, Colorado where she became a Colorado state champion in the 500-freestyle. Houck also competed in the 2012 Olympic Swimming Trials in the 400-meter freestyle and was a five-time prep All-American.
