Kelli Zickert

Kelli Zickert joined the IUPUI women's soccer staff prior to the 2020 campaign, assisting head coach Chris Johnson with all aspects of the program. Zickert previously served as a graduate assistant at Albany State in Albany, Ga., during the 2019 season. 

Zickert was a standout player at Illinois State where she earned All-Missouri Valley Conference First Team honors in 2016 and 2017. She was the 2014 MVC Freshman of the Year and also selected to the MVC All-Freshman Team that year. 

During her four-year career, Illinois State went 45-31-7 overall and 17-7-1 in conference play and won two regular season and two MVC tournament titles. In 2014, they captured an NCAA Tournament first round win on the road at South Florida. Her junior year, the Redbirds played Michigan to a 2-2 draw in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament before advancing on penalty kicks. 

She finished her career with 83 career appearances and 72 starts while totaling 17 goals and 17 assists and finishing eighth on ISU's all-time list with 51 points. She also finished her career ranked fourth on the program's all-time list with 193 shot attempts and started 71 straight matches spanning from the midpoint of her freshman campaign until her collegiate finale. 

She later signed to play professionally with Domsjö IF in Sweden.
