Carmen Brigham joined the IUPUI Athletic Training staff in September 2013 and will work with the women's soccer and women's basketball programs. Brigham completed her Masters degree at Florida Atlantic University in May 2013, while working with FAU's soccer and tennis teams.Â
Brigham also gained experience with the C.D. Chivas USA Major League Soccer team in 2010-11, working with the club's first team players and serving as the athletic trainer for the predominantly Spanish speaking players. She also assisted the Santa Monica Orthopedic Group and acted as head athletic trainer for the Chivas USA U-17/U-18 Developmental Academy during that time.Â
Brigham graduated from Central Michigan in 2010 and worked as an Athletic Training Student for the Chippewas. She specifically worked with the football and track student-athletes, while also creating a strength and conditioning program for student-athletes at nearby Northwood University.Â
Originally from Roscommon, Mich., Brigham has gained volunteer experience with the MLS Medical Symposium, NASL Soccer Combine and studied abroad in Puebla, Mexico during the summer of 2010.Â
