Michael Blume is in his 13th year at IUPUI and serves as the Head strength and conditioning coach. He primarily oversees the total strength and conditioning program for the Jaguars 18 intercollegiate sports programs, working specifically with volleyball, women's soccer, men's tennis, and the men's and women's swimming and diving programs. In addition, he works on the athletic performance staff at the National Institute for Fitness and Sport (NIFS) on the IUPUI campus.
Blume previously spent four years with the United States Military Academy (Army), as an assistant strength coach.
Blume earned his B.S. and M.S. in Kinesiology (Applied Sport Science) at IU. Blume is a Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified with Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists (CSCS).
Blume resides in Fishers with his wife Shaleen and daughters Tailynn and Adley.
