China Dow joined the IUPUI women’s basketball program as an assistant coach before the 2022-23 season.
The Louisville, Ky. native previously spent a year as a high school head coach and two years as an assistant high school coach at Martha Layne Collins High School in Shelbyville, Ky.
Before coaching Dow played at Middle Tennessee State University for two years before transferring to Florida Gulf Coast University where she finished out her college career.
While at FGCU, Dow was a two-time ASUN champion and was named ASUN tournament MVP twice. She finished her Division I career with 1,093 points, including 749 in her last two seasons. She was named to the ASUN's All-Decade team a few years after graduating.
Before college, Dow finished her high school career at the Christian Academy of Louisville as the school's all-time leading scorer with 2,403 points. She was ranked as a four-star recruit and the No. 90 recruit in the nation by ESPN HoopGurlz.
