IU Indy Athletics

Kennedy Gladding, MS, LAT, ATC joined the IU Indianapolis Athletic Training staff in July 2024 and will work with the Jaguars men's and women's cross country and track and field programs. 

Gladding joins the IU Indy program, having most recently worked at Christus Good Shepherd and Spring Hill High School in Longview, Texas. She worked with a number of different programs at both the high school and junior high level, while also teaching sports medicine skills to student athletic trainers. She also did research work at Buckner Westminster Place in Tyler, Texas, centered largely around Acupunch Exercise programs. 

Gladding earned her M.S. in kinesiology from East Texas Baptist University after completing her undergraduate work at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Ill. While at ONU, she worked with multiple sports, including men's and women's track and field, football and men's basketball, among others. 

Gladding is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).
