Steve Bushre joined the IUPUI men's soccer staff in August 2019 and will serve as an assistant on Coach Barnett's staff. Bushre most recently served as an assistant coach and JV head coach at Taylor University and is head coach of the Old Bhoys SC of the United Soccer Premier League in the Midwest Conference.
Prior to that, Bushre was head coach at Bethesda Christian School from 2013 through 2016 and trained goalkeepers at the United Soccer Club of Indianapolis from 2012 through 2017. He holds an USC Advanced National Diploma and USSF National 'C' license.
Bushre graduated from Cedarville University with a bachelor's degree in business management and his Master's degree from Ohio University in Recreation and Sport Sciences.
He and his wife, Jennifer, have a son, Josiah.
