Former professional standout Mile Milovac enters his second season training IUPUI's goalkeepers. The former goalie played for the United Serbs in Chicago's Metropolitan Soccer League. 


In 1996, he was drafted by D.C. United in the MLS Inaugural Player Draft and played for both Bruce Arena and Bob Bradley. He also played in the Continental Indoor Soccer League with the Indianapolis Twisters as well as the Indiana Blast, part of the USISL D3-Pro League. 

Milovac played in Eastern Europe, signing his first professional contract at age 16 in the USISL League. He played primarily in Serbia, while also competing in international events in Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Holland, Italy and Poland, among others. He earned top keeper awards in tournaments in Austria, Cyprus, Hungary and Poland. 

He later came to the states and was in goal for the Indiana State Select Team for two years, helping the squad to the Region II Division title. 

Milovac began coaching youth soccer in 1999 and has been involved with Noblesville United, FC Pride, Carmel United and the Indiana ODP program. He was also formerly Head Coach of the NPSL Indianapolis Braves and was state director for Indiana and Wisconsin for the Genova International School of Soccer (GISS) in America. He has also served as assistant coach for the girls team at in-state powerhouse Guerin Catholic. 

Milovac lives in Indianapolis and holds a USSF 'B' License.
