Keegan Boom joined the IU Indianapolis men's soccer program and head coach Sid van Druenen's coaching staff in Spring 2025 and added the title of recruiting coordinator just before the start of the fall season. Boom joins the Jaguars from the University of Indianapolis, where he had been assistant since 2021.Â
Boom joined the UIndy program in December 2021 as a performance analyst. In that role, he aided in instruction and team training, while studying player and team performance in both training and games. He was also responsible for developing UIndy's recruiting plan, maintaining prospect databases and evaluating and communicating with prospects.
In three seasons at UIndy, the Greyhounds went a combined 31-12-14, including a 12-2-7 mark in 2023. That season, the Greyhounds won the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Championship and advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament Super Regionals behind one of the nation's best defenses. That squad held opponents to a 0.57 goals against average and just 7.4 shot attempts per game while registering 11 shutouts in 21 games.
Boom has prior experience with FC Pride Elite in Indianapolis, serving as the ECNL Director of Coaching and previously as NPSL Head Coach. He also worked with FK Decic 1926 in the Montenegrin First League.Â
A native of the Netherlands, Boom is fluent in three languages (English, German and Dutch) and holds a USSF 'C' Coaching License.
