Joel Chalkley returns to IUPUI for his first season as an Assistant Coach on Steve Franklin's staff. He spent the past two years as an assistant coach at crosstown Marian College and currently works with the Fishers Soccer Club.
He has previously worked with Noblesville United SC the past two years and spent five years prior to that with the Indy Burn. He also served a two-year stint as an assistant coach at Warren Central High School and is a longtime assistant camp director of the Screaming Eagles Soccer Academy.
Chalkley began his college playing career at IUPUI in 2000 before playing his final three seasons at Indiana State. His international experience includes having played on a French Youth Tour and Dutch Youth Tour as a prep, while he's coached touring teams in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Liverpool, England.
He holds an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and USSF National Youth License.
