Former Wright State standout and Noblesville-native Jason Balach joined the IUPUI Men's Soccer program in August 2014 as Assistant Coach. Balach will work specifically with the Jaguars' goalkeepers.
Balach brings significant coaching expertise to the IUPUI sidelines, having worked with Noblesville United and Indianapolis Premier Soccer Clubs. More recently, he's assisted with the Fishers-based Indy Premier Soccer Club and is active with the Indiana's Olympic Development Program (ODP).
Balach was a four-year starter in goal at Wright State (2002-05), finishing fourth in program history in minutes played (5156), saves (256) and shutouts (14). He earned his degree in Business Management.
After graduation, he worked as a Student-Athlete Academic Advisor at Austin Peay and for the National Center for Drug Free Sport in Kansas City, Mo.. His coaching career began in 2009 with Indianapolis Premier.
