Ashley Martin joined the IUPUI Athletic Training staff in July 2014 as a Graduate Assistant and will work with the Jaguars' men's soccer and men's and women's tennis programs. Martin recently completed her undergraduate work at Ball State University, earning a B.S. of Athletic Training while also working with the Cardinals' baseball, football, volleyball and women's field hockey teams.
Additionally, she worked at nearby Delta and Yorktown High Schools, while working towards her degree. Martin also gained experience working of staff of the Chase Charlie 5K and the Renovo Sport Physicals in Summer 2013. She also had the opportunity to study abroad while at Ball State, traveling to Italy in the Fall 2012.
Martin is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) and was a three-year member of BSU's Athletic Training Club. In addition, she's a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, serving as the group's Vice President in 2011.
Martin is a native of Shelbyville, Ind. and resides in Indianapolis.
