2013-14 - Senior: 2014 Summit League Championship MVP after shooting a 3-over 219 at Sky Creek Ranch in Keller, Texas... it was his first collegiate tournament win... was honored with the IUPUI Mel Garland Award and Jaguars Athletics Club Academic Achievement Awards at the Senior Dinner, honoring the department's top senior performers... voted Academic All-Summit League by the league's faculty athletics representatives and sports information personnel... co-captain... was third on the squad and 21st in The Summit League with a 76.61 scoring average... had three top-10 finishes this season... carded a season-best round of 5-under 67 in his first round of the season at the Golfweek Program Challenge on Sept. 8... his 67 tied for the seventh-best 18-hole score in school history... finished tournaments at 219 on two different occasions, matching his career-best... in addition to The Summit League medalist honors, earning top-10 finishes at the John Dallio Memorial (Sept. 28-29) and Beu/Mussatto Invitational... shot 224 (72-80-72) at Beu/Mussatto, finishing tied for third among the 82-player field... chosen to The Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence... Summit League Academic Honor Roll Distinguished Scholar selection... named to IUPUI's Academic Advisor's List (3.0 GPA or better) both semesters.

2012-13 - Junior: Voted Academic All-Summit League by the league's faculty athletics representatives and sports information personnel... played in 12 tournaments, leading the squad with 33 rounds played and a 75.55 stroke average... was the Jaguars' low man four different times... finished the year with three top 10 and two top five finishes... shot season-best rounds of 70 on two different occasions, matching his career-low... shot a career-best 1-over 143 (70-73) at the Dayton Fall Invitational (Oct. 22-23), finishing that event in fifth-place...matched his career-low 54-hole tournament score with a 3-over, 219 (70-75-74) at the Beu/Mussatto Invitational in Macomb, Ill., tying for third at that event... was the Jaguars' low man at The Summit League Championships (Apr. 22-24) at Sky Creek Ranch in Keller, Texas, shooting a 54-hole 230 (77-80-73)... chosen to The Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence...  chosen as a Summit League Academic Honor Roll Distinguished Scholar... named to the IUPUI Academic Advisor's List (3.0 GPA or better) both semesters.

2011-12 - Sophomore: First Team All-Summit League honoree... joined the Jaguars at the start of the spring 2012 semester... finished the year with a 74.95 scoring average while playing in 19 of the team's 38 rounds... was in the Jaguars' lineup five times including at The Summit League Championships and NCAA Norman Regional... was the team's low man at the COG Mizzou Intercollegiate, carding a 3-over 219 (74-73-72) to tie for eighth overall... tied for third overall at the Butler Spring Invitational and Penn Quaker Invitational including a season-best 146 (73-73) at Butler... carded a season-low 70 on two different occasions... fired a 54-hole 219 twice including in The Summit League Championships... was honored as an Academic All-Summit League Distinguished Scholar... named to IUPUI's Academic Advisor's List for the spring semester.

Before IUPUI: Helped his club, Prise d'Eau in Tilburg, Netherlands, claim the 2010 national title... Prise d'Eau was elevated to the nation's highest division in 2007 when van de Vin joined the club... was a two-time runner-up in National Junior Match Play events and tied for sixth at the National Junior Stroke Play event... was also runner-up in the Amateur Junior... was the highest placing amateur on the European Professional Development (EPD) Tour The Haus Bey Classic in 2011, placing 26th overall... only tournament on U.S. soil prior to his arrival was at the TPC Sawgrass... graduated from Koning Willem II College before attending Johan Cruyff Institute for Sports Studies, formced to educate sports people from all over the world while generating projects and ideas within the sports industry.
