Sean Lampton was hired to join the IUPUI Golf coaching staff in August 2023 after having served as a volunteer assistant for the Jaguars the two seasons prior. Lampton was previously head coach at Covenant Christian High School, leading the boys program for 11 seasons and re-instituting the girls program in 2012.Â
Lampton helped Peyton Broce become the first girls player in Covenant Christian to qualify for the IHSAA State Finals in 2017. He is certified by the U.S. Golf Coaches Alliance as a professional golf coach and is an Associate Member of the U.S. Golf Teachers Federation.Â
Lampton owns his own business, Paragon Resources, Inc., which specializes in business products.Â
Lampton was a four-year letterwinner in cross country and track at Trine University before earning his degree in Civil Engineering. He later completed his MBA from the University of Indianapolis in Leadership, Marketing and Finance.Â
