Former DePauw standout Becky Williams joined the IU Indianapolis golf coaching staff in August 2026 as an assistant coach and will work with both the men's and women's programs.
Williams was named DePauw's recipient of the Amy Hasbrook Award in 2026 as the top senior student-athlete competing on a DePauw women's team. She was a three-time All-American, including earning First Team honors as a junior in 2025.Â
She closed her career as DePauw's career leader in scoring average (73.76) and tournament wins (14) while winning the North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Year award all three seasons. She was the conference tournament medalist in 2024 and 2025 and was the 2023 Ohio Athletic Conference medalist while playing at Otterbein.Â
She was a 14-time NCAC Athlete of the Week and set DePauw's record for single-season scoring average at 72.84 in 2025.Â
Academically, she graduated summa cum laude and was a Chi Alpha Sigma honor society member. Additionally, she served on DePauw's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and the Diverse Athletes Association. She was chosen to participate in the 2026 NCAA Career in Sports Forum and was assistant vice president for the Alpha Chi Omega sorority.Â
