Cross Country (Sophomore): Was a Second Team All-Summit League performer by virtue of his 13th place finish at the league championship meet in Fort Wayne on Nov. 2... ran the final four meets of the season after missing the start of the year to injury... was the Jaguars' No. 4 runner on tow different occasions... ran a personal best 8K time of 25:22 at the Bradley "Pink" Classic on Oct. 18, marking the 12th best time in The Summit in 2013... selected to The Summit League's Academic Honor Roll.Â
Indoor (Junior): Ran seven indoor meets... was the team's top performer in the 800, mile and 3,000m during indoor season... set a pair of school records during indoor season, including running a 1:57.83 800 at the Gene Edmonds Cup on Jan. 11... ran a program best 8:21.28 3K at the IU Relays on Feb. 1... Summit League Academic Honor Roll selection.
Outdoor (Sophomore): All-Summit Leaguer with a second-place finish in the 1,500 at the league championships... participated in six outdoor meets... was the Jags' top performer in the mile and 3,000m event... set a pair of school records on the same date at the Mt. SAC Relays, running a 1,500 time of 3:48.38 in the morning and 14:25.73 5K on Apr. 18... his 3:48.38 1,500 was the fastest time in The Summit League in 2014 and his 5K time of 14:25.73 was third-best in the league... was part of a school record setting 4x800 relay team on Mar. 22, helping the group to a time of 7:56.49 at the Charlotte 49er Classic... Summit League Academic Honor Roll selection.
Academic: Selected to The Summit League Commissioner's List for Academic Excellence... named to IUPUI's Academic Advisor's List (3.0 GPA or better) for both semesters.
2012-13 SEASON
Cross Country (Freshman): Ran in all six of the team's meets, placing among the team's top five in the final three events of the season... was IUPUI's No. 4 runner at the Oct. 13 Evansville Invitational, running a season-best 26:11.18 8K to place seventh of 143 total runners... finished the season with a 33:28 10K at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 9, placing 114th overall.
Indoor (Sophomore): Set a new indoor record in the 3,000m... ran the indoor 3,000m record time of 8:28.14 at the Indiana University Relays on Jan. 25 in the spring opener, winning that race by more than a second... won the mile at the Fred Wilt Boilermaker Invitational on Feb. 16, running a personal best time of 4:18.18.
Outdoor (Freshman): Earned All-Summit League honors with a runner-up finish in the 1,500m race at The Summit League Championships on May 11... named Summit League Men's Outdoor Runner of the Week on Apr. 16 after winning the 1,500 at the WKU Hilltopper Relays on Apr. 13... finished the season as the school outdoor record holder in the 800m and 1,500m... ran a school record 1:55.20 800m at the Dave Rankin Invitational on Apr. 19, finishing the year ranked sixth in The Summit League in that event... ranked third in The Summit with a school record time of 3:49.01 in the 1,500m, which he ran at the Butler Stan Lyons Invitational on Apr. 27... ranked second on the squad and eighth in the The Summit at the 5,000m distance, running 14:41.51 at the Miami Invitational on Apr. 5.
2011-12 SEASON
Cross Country (Redshirt): Did not enroll at IUPUI until the spring semester in 2012.
Indoor (Freshman): Ran just two indoor meets before suffering a season-ending injury... notched a season-best 3,000m indoor time of 8:46.62 at the Boilermaker Invitational on Feb. 18.
Outdoor (Redshirt): Missed the outdoor season due to injury.
Academic: Named to IUPUI's Academic Advisor's List for the spring semester.
High School: Earned eight varsity letters in cross country and track at Chesterton High School... was named CHS Co-Senior Athlete of the Year his senior season... was a four-time IHSAA state meet qualifier in cross country and three-time state qualifier in track... qualified for the state meet in the 800m run his senior season... was a two-time Team MVP in track, including earning DAC MVP honors for the second straight year... helped Chesterton to an IHSAA state runner-up finish in 2009 and led the Trojans to two sectional, two regional and a semistate title... helped Chesterton to a section and two regional track titles during his four years.
