Brian Kim enters his first season as a manager with the IUPUI Men's Cross Country team. Kim is a 2009 graduate of Portage High School and is in his first year studying at IUPUI, majoring in chemistry.
Kim earned two varsity letters in cross country and track while at Portage and was a three-time member of the school's 500 mile club and recorded the team's most summer miles twice during his prep career. He was twice picked as the cross country team's Most Improved Runner and earned the track team's Sportsmanship Award his senior year.
He also earned academic honors each of his four years.
