Adrian Myers

Adrian Myers joined the IUPUI Men's Cross Country program in August 2009, serving as Head Coach Chuck Koeppen's top assistant. Myers was a three-time NCAA All-American at Lewis University in Romeoville, Ill. and is currently under contract with the Indiana Invaders National/Olympic Development Program.

Myers earned his degree from Lewis in 2008 in Exercise Science while running both track and cross country. He was a 10-time All-Great Lakes Valley Conference performer and finished his career with top 10 all-time finishes in 11 events at Lewis. He helped the 2004 Lewis cross country team to a GLVC championship and was a member of the SAAC throughout his collegiate career.

He also created the ELITE Running Camps, emphasizing basic training principles of distance running in a low-impact, fun learning environment. Numerous former campers earned Illinois All-State honors in both track and cross country.

A native of Oregon, Ill., Myers is currently pursuing his Master's Degree in Human Performance from Adams State College. He's also training in an effort to compete in the USA Championships and 2012 USA Olympic Trials.
