Margo Muccia joined the IU Indianapolis staff in August 2025 and serves as the primary athletic trainer for the men's basketball program, among other sports. Muccia joined the IU Indy program from TCU, where she completed her M.S. in Athletic Training and did rotations with TCU Athletics and neighboring high schools and clinics around Fort Worth.
Muccia also completed an internship with the Charlotte Hornets while pursuing her Master's.Â
Muccia completed her undergraduate degree at Miami University, earning her B.S. in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. She is both a Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) and Board Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).Â
