Kat Ruark, MS, LAT, ATC, joined the IU Indianapolis staff in June 2024 as an athletic trainer. Ruark will work primarily with the men's basketball and golf programs.
Ruark comes to IU Indy from nearly University of Indianapolis where she was Assistant Athletic Trainer during the 2023-24 season. While with the Greyhounds, she worked primarily with the UIndy men's and women's basketball programs.
She previously worked at D'Youville University in Buffalo, N.Y., working with the men's soccer, men's basketball and men's lacrosse programs.
While completing her MS in Athletic Training from UIndy, she gained clinical experience at Syracuse Univeristy, Marian University and Butler University.
She completed her undergraduate degree at DePauw University, earning a BA in Cell and Molecular Biology.
