Biography

Team co-captain... missed the entire 1978-1979 season after suffering a knee injury just prior to the season.

A top recruit from Muncie North, where he led his team to the top of the 1977 state polls; also ran cross country and played football; member of National Honor Society; son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Duerson. 

Overman on Duerson: "Mike's had great high school experience on an outstanding team which played excellent competition. His most outstanding qualities are his hard-nosed rebounding and defense, in addition to his fine passing."
