General: All-Conference selection at Anderson High School last year... averaged 13.5 points, 12 rebounds, 4 blocks and two steals per game as a senior... was a member of the East-West All-Star Team and a McDonald's All-America nominee.

Personal: Father, Derrick, played professional basketball in the NBA from 1973-79, five years with the Golden State Warriors and one for the Chicago Bulls... enjoys fishing and playing baseball in his spare time... born June 8, 1976.
