Chris Johnson joined the IUPUI basketball staff at the start of the 2012-13 season as Director of Operations.
The Fulton, N.Y.-native is currently pursuing his Doctor of Jurisprudence at the IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law on the IUPUI campus and previously served as an extern in the IUPUI Athletics Compliance office.
Johnson also spent a year at the NCAA National Office as an extern on the enforcement staff, working specifically on case research surrounding agents, gambling and amateurism.
Johnson earned his B.S. in Business Administration and Sport Management from Daemen College in Amherst, N.Y. in 2010, graduating summa cum laude. He was a two-time NAIA Academic All-American for the Wildcats' men's soccer program and was a member of Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society for Business, Management and Administration.
He also worked in the Daemen College Athletics Department for more than two years, doing video and statistical work for the men's basketball program and also serving on the event staff for men's and women's home basketball contests.
Johnson also has previous work experience for the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame and Damon Morey LLP in Buffalo.
