IU Indy Athletics

Braden Gasper is in his fourth season with the IUPUI basketball program, having spent two years as a student manager and one as head manager. 

A native of North Vernon, Ind., Gasper originally came to IUPUI as a member of the Jaguars' cross country and track teams. The 2011 Jennings County High School graduate had to step away from running when he was diagnosed with cancer. 

Gasper graduated from IUPUI with his B.S. in Sports Management and a minor in math and business. 

He proposed to his now wife Leah at halftime of an IUPUI game and the couple was married in August 2016.
