A member of the 1973 Indiana State High School basketball champions at New Albany; transfer from Tennessee Tech; returning letterman from last year's Metro squad; high school standout in baseball; son of Mr. and Mrs. William Finley Sr.

Overman on Finley: "Bill had a disappointing 1976-77 season, but seems to have regained his confidence, shooting touch and poise. I look forward to a big senior year from him."
