Annually, IUPUI invites professors across campus to a men’s and women’s basketball home game for “Favorite Professor Recognition”. Jags student athletes are invited to nominate a professor who made an impact on their academics from the fall semester and these individuals are invited to come out to cheer on IUPUI at the February 22nd men’s home game and February 28th women’s home game.
Last fall was another outstanding semester for IUPUI athletes in the classroom. The 300+ students totaled a combined 3.33 GPA. Additionally, each of the individual 18 sport rosters posted a team cumulative GPA of over 3.0. The Jags Women’s Cross Country/Track team lead all squads with an outstanding 3.69 GPA.
Great work in the classroom is accomplished in part with great teaching so IUPUI Athletics is pleased to say thank you to the following individuals who were selected by our students as “Favorite Professors.”
