Address: 1001 W. New York St., 46202
Capacity: 10,000

IUPUI returned to the on-campus Michael A. Carroll Stadium in the Fall 2012 after completing the installation of a new FieldTurf Revolution soccer field, covering the 110 x 75 yard pitch. The facility boasts stadium seating for 10,000 patrons and includes a press box on the south side, which can accommodate 72 working media members.

Originally built in 1982, the IU Michael A. Carroll Track & Soccer Stadium cost $7 million to construct. Since then, a new drainage system, track surface and soccer field were later installed in 1997. The revitalized facility made its debut at the USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Later, the infield was reconstructed to accommodate field sports such as soccer, rugby, and lacrosse. In 1998, a new state-of-the-art timing, scoring and scoreboard display system was installed, including digital photo-finish timing equipment.

The oval, 400-meter, eight-lane track is made up of a Mondo running surface and 48-inch lanes.

Carroll Stadium, named after the former Eli Lilly executive, hosted both the 2006 and 2007 USA Track & Field Championships, while having also hosted IHSAA Soccer and Lacrosse State Championships, Horizon League Track Championships, the 2001 World Police and Fire Games, NCAA soccer, track and lacrosse competitions and other marquee events.

During the summers, the facility is also used for IUPUI Sport Complex Summer Camps, as well as competitions and an assortment of walks/runs. The facility also served as the home facility for the Indy Eleven from 2014-2017.
