2022-23 SEASON
Indoor (Sophomore): Competed in five indoor meets... clocked a personal-best 800m time of 1:58.28 to finish eighth in the first meet of the indoor season at the Bellarmine Open (Jan. 20)... placed eighth in the following meet-Indianapolis Tom Hathaway Distance Carnival (Jan. 27)-with a time of 1:59.75... member of the 4x400 relay team that took fifth at the Horizon League Championship (Feb. 26). Â
Outdoor (Sophomore): Participated in five outdoor meets... opened the outdoor season with back-to-back second-place finishes in the 400m at the Blizzard Buster (Mar. 17) and Oliver Nikoloff Invitational (Apr. 1)... took second at the RedHawk Invitational (Apr. 29) with a time of 50.35... posted a personal-best 49.59 in the 400m to secure a ninth-place finish at the Horizon League Championship (May 7)... member of the 4x400 relay team that took sixth at the Horizon League Championship.
Academics: Named to the IUPUI Academic Advisor's List (3.0 GPA or better) both semesters.
2021-22 SEASON
Indoor (Freshman): Competed in three indoor meets... ran the 400, 4x400 relay and DMR at the Horizon League Indoor Championships... ran a school record 400m time of 50.24 at the league championships, placing 13th in the prelims... helped the Jags finish sixth in the DMR at the league championships... made his IUPUI debut with a personal best 800m time of 2:04.22 at the Bellarmine Open on Jan. 21 and also finishing third in the 400m event at that meet with a time of 50.51... ran a 400m time of 50.63 at the GVSU Big Meet-Friday on Feb. 11.Â
Outdoor (Freshman): Scored in the Horizon League Outdoor Championships in the 400m event, clocking a school record time of 50.19 in the prelims to advance to the finals... finished eighth in the finals in a time of 50.79... was seventh in the 400 at both the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational (51.28) and Jim Vargo Invitational (51.03)... ran a wind aided 200m time of 22.57 at the Illini Invitational on Apr. 23.Â
Academics: Named to the IUPUI Academic Advisor's List (3.0 GPA or better) for the fall semester.
High School: Earned eight varsity letters in track and field, soccer and swimming and Batesville High School... collected seven wins in the 400m event as a senior, including sectional and regional titles before advancing to the IHSAA State Championships... was also Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference champ in the 400... had a personal best time of 49.51 at the Warren Central Regional... also competed on Batesville's 4x100, 4x400 and 4x800 relay teams... helped Batesville secure EIAC and Sectional crowns in the 4x800 and a sectional runner-up finish in the 4x400... had a personal best 200m time of 23.00 early during the outdoor season his senior year.
