Lowe's Senior CLASS Award Player Card

Of Note: Is the only player in IUPUI's Division I history to have been voted First Team Academic All-District multiple times... earned the award each of his final three seasons in the program... finished his IUPUI career in tenth on the all-time list with 41 points and tied for tenth on the all-time list with 15 goals scored... 73 matches played tie him for seventh on the all-time list and 64 starts are tied for ninth... his 116 shot attempts are fifth in the program's history since 1995.

2009 - Senior: Named IUPUI's Male recipient of the Melvyn Garland Distinguished Student-Athlete Award, given annually to the top performing senior student-athlete... also honored with the Jaguars Athletics Club Academic Achievement Award, given annually to the top performing male student-athlete academically... earned Second Team Lowe's Senior CLASS All-America honors... previously named one of 10 national finalists for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, based on four areas of excellence - classroom, character, community and competition... was originally named among 30 finalists before being voted among the top 10... earned the team's Coach's Award... Academic All-Region nominee... also voted First Team CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District 5... one of five Jags to start all 19 matches, mostly at forward... finished the season with two goals and two assists and was fourth on the squad with 23 shot attempts... scored IUPUI's lone goal in the 1-1 tie with Eastern Illinois on Sept. 20... had a goal and an assist in the 6-0 win over Marian on Oct. 28... assisted on the Jags' first goal in the 3-2 win at Centenary on Nov. 7... attempted a season-high four shot attempts on two separate occasions... selected to The Summit League's Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence... named to the IUPUI Academic Advisor's List both semesters... named to the Fall Academic All-Summit League team.

2008 - Junior: Named to the CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine First Team Academic All-District 5... earned the team's Coaches Award... one of two Jaguars to start all 19 games... tied for the team lead in shot attempts (32) and tied for sixth with four points... his 32 shot attempts tied for seventh most in The Summit League... served as team captain during the fall and spring... scored his lone goal of the season in the closing seconds of the 3-1 win over Valparaiso on Sept. 5... assisted on an insurance goal in the 4-0 win over Western Michigan two days later... also contributed an assist in the 2-1 victory over Marian College on Oct. 9... tried a season-high four shots on two different occasions... matched his career-high with three shots on goal against Western Illinois on Oct. 18... picked to the Colony Inn & Suites Green Bay Nike Soccer Classic All-Tournament Team on Sept. 21... chosen to the Northwestern Lakeside Classic All-Tournament Team... chosen to The Summit League Commissioner's List for Academic Excellence... Academic All-Summit League honoree... named to the Academic Advisor's List both semesters.

2007 - Sophomore: Named ESPN The Magazine First Team Academic All-District V by vote of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)... voted Second Team All-Summit League by the league's coaches after ranking second on the team with five goals and 13 points... played in and started 17 games... scored the game-winning goal in IUPUI's 2-0 Summit League semifinals win over Oral Roberts... had a goal and an assist in decisive wins over UMKC on Oct. 6 and over IPFW on Nov. 9, assisting on the game-winners on both occasions... scored in three consecutive matches from Nov. 5-16... had three goals and two assists in Summit League play... put a season-high three shots on goal twice... chosen Academic All-Summit League... selected to The Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence... named to the Academic Advisor's List both semesters.

2006 - Freshman: Voted Second Team All Mid-Con by the league's coaches and sports information personnel... also picked to the 10-player All-Newcomer Team... chosen as the team's Newcomer of the Year by his teammates.... played in 18 matches, making nine starts... ranked second on the team in goals (7), assists (4) and game-winners (2)... scored his first career goal in the 3-0 win over Bellarmine on Aug. 29... scored game-winners in two of IUPUI's three Mid-Con victories - at Valparaiso on Oct. 14 and versus Western Illinois on Oct. 21... Academic All Mid-Con selection... named to the IUPUI Academic Advisor's List both semesters.

High School: Led the state of Wisconsin in scoring as a senior, posting 65 goals and 22 assists... finished his prep career with 130 goals scored... was a two-time Post-Crescent All-Area Player of the Year... helped Xavier High School to back-to-back state titles in 2003 and 2004... was a two-time Valley 8 Conference Offensive Player of the Year pick and three-time All-Conference choice... named to the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association All-State as a junior and senior... is slated to play in the Masonic All-Star Soccer Game in the summer... picked IUPUI over a group that included UW-Milwaukee and Indiana.
