2013-14: Competed in the 500 free, the mile and the 400 IM at the Summit League Championships … his 400 IM time of 4:21.75 at The House of Champions meet in November was the third-fastest 400 IM time by a Jag during the season … also registered the third-best times during the season in the 1,000 free and the 1,650 free with times of 10:06.28 and 17:00.32, respectively … named to the IUPUI Academic Advisor's List for the spring semester ... named to the Winter/Spring Summit League Academic Honor Roll and the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.

2012-13: Recorded a Top-8 finish in the mile with a seventh-place time of 16:27.55 ... his 1,000 split in the mile of 9:57.18 was the second-best mark in program history ... his mile time moved him into fifth in the IUPUI record books ... placed 14th in the 500 free at the Summit League Championships with a time of 4:45.57 ... Named to the IUPUI Academic Advisor's List (3.0 GPA or better) both semesters.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner at McCutcheon High School ... earned Team MVP honors in 2012 and David Ellison Mental Attitude Award.

PERSONAL: Born Aug. 14, 1993 ... son of Bart and Melisa Saunders ... majoring in mechanical engineering ... brother Andrew is a junior on the IUPUI swimming and diving squad.
