Biography
2010-11: Swam the third leg of the 800 freestyle relay squad that set a new school record with a mark of 7:05.18 at the Summit League Championships … placed 10th in the 1,650 freestyle at the conference meets timing in at 16:48.31, the 12th-best mark in program history … his 1,000-yard split of 10:07.66 also was a Top-15 mark in school history … also swam in the ‘B’ final of the 500 freestyle at the conference meet and picked up a 15th-place time of 4:52.70 … finished the season with six total podiums, including three victories.
2008-09:
Picked up his second career win while increasing his podium total to eight in his sophomore year ... Dropped over a minute off his mile time at The Summit League Championships, finishing fifth overall in 16:34.10 ... Swam two more personal best times at The Summit Championships, touching the wall in 1:49.03 in the 200 freestyle and recording a time of 4:49.65 in the 500 free ... Is one of 42 IUPUI men's swimmers and divers to go over 10 career podium finishes.
2007-08: Picked up four podium finishes in his freshman year, spending time in distance events ... Swam 1650 freestyle for IUPUI at Summit League Championships, setting a team-best time of 17:07.21 ... Won one event in his freshman year, along with one relay win ... Had three personal-best times at The Summit League Championships, in the 200 free (1:51.12), 500 free (4:53.72) and the mile.
