JAGUARS TO HEAD TO FORT WAYNE FOR SUNDAY SHOWDOWN

Jaguars (7-20, 3-13 HL) to face Purdue Fort Wayne (14-12, 8-7 HL) on Sunday (Feb. 15)

2/14/2026 7:59:00 PM

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IU Indianapolis men's basketball team will head north to face in-state foe Purdue Fort Wayne on Sunday (Feb. 15) at 2:00 p.m. It marks the close of a busy week for the Jaguars as they'll play a third game in six days. The Jags (7-20, 3-13 HL) look to snap a modest two-game skid as they dropped back-to-back home games by a combined seven points this week.

On Thursday, the Jaguars squandered a 13-point lead to Northern Kentucky, ultimately falling to the Norse, 84-81, inside the Jungle. Junior Kyler D'Augustino led the way with 22 points and Jaxon Edwards added 16 points, five rebounds and five assists. Finley Woodward added 16 points and Maguire Mitchell added 14 points, including four threes.

D'Augustino continues to score at an efficient rate, averaging a team-high 18.9 points per game while shooting 53 percent from the floor and 39 percent from three-point range. Edwards checks in at 11.7 points and a team-high 5.5 rebounds per game while Mitchell scores 10.5 points per game with a team-high 64 threes. Woodward pilots the attack with 9.1 points and a team-high 6.0 assists per game while shooting 53 percent from the floor.

Sunday's game with Purdue Fort Wayne marks the first of two meetings over the next two weeks as the initially scheduled Jan. 25 date was postponed due to inclement weather.

QUOTABLE
"We have to be smart as a team, be more composed. We are competing with every team going into halftime, either leading or trailing them by a bucket. Then in the second half, we just kind of implode. I think we're our best enemy in the second half. We beat ourselves a lot of the time and it's super frustrating," Woodward said following Thursday's home loss to Northern Kentucky.
