Sarah Bambrick has been named the #HLWSOC Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts last week. Bambrick registered a shutout win at Detroit Mercy on Saturday (Oct. 4), blanking the Titans with three saves.
Bambrick earned Horizon League weekly honors for the first time in her career.
In doing so, Bambrick helped the Jaguars pull back to .500 in Horizon League play as she recorded three stops in a 2-0 road win at Detroit Mercy. It marked a second straight road shutout for the Jaguars as IU Indy improved to 2-2 to start Horizon League play.
Bambrick lowered her goals against average to 1.46 on the season while increasing her save percentage to .705 on the season.
