FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IU Indianapolis men's basketball team will hit the road for the first time in Horizon League play on Wednesday night (Dec. 11) when the Jaguars take on in-state foe Purdue Fort Wayne (6-4, 1-1 HL) at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN+.

Head coach Paul Corsaro's team comes in having won three of its past four games, including a Horizon League opening win over Green Bay last Wednesday. The Jaguars (5-6, 1-1 HL) are coming off a loss at the buzzer to Northern Kentucky, despite a game-high 24 points from Paul Zilinskas and a 23-point effort from Jarvis Walker.

The Jaguars have become one of the nation's elite three-point shooting teams under Corsaro, currently ranking 28th in the country at 10.3 threes per game, shooting 35.6 percent from beyond the arc. Zilinskas ranks among the top 50 nationally in threes made (3.2/game) and three-point percentage (46.1%).

Zilinskas and Walker, who began his career at Purdue Fort Wayne, make up one of the best backcourt duos in the league, combining on 35 points per game.

In the frontcourt, junior Sean Craig (8.6 ppg, 8.9 rpg) and freshman DeSean Goode (6.6 ppg, 5.3 rpg) lead the way with Goode recently being named #HLMBB Freshman of the Week. The frontcourt received a shot in the arm recently with the return of 7-footer Julian Steinfeld from injury. Steinfeld made his debut against NKU on Saturday, playing 10 minutes off the bench.

QUOTABLE
"I'm proud of our guys. We fought all day long against a really good program. It's a tough way to lose a basketball game, but we'll learn from it. It's part of the growth process for our guys," Corsaro said following the loss to NKU on Saturday.
