INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI men's and women's swim and dive teams welcome Butler and Wabash on Friday night as the Jaguars celebrate the 2023-24 senior class. The meet is set for a 4:00 PM start time with senior day recognition being 15 minutes prior to the first event.
The ten Jaguars being recognized at Friday's meet are

Thomas Reedy,
Hanna Barton,
Zoe Hendrickx,
Sadie Smith,
Lauren Thompson and
Lela Wagner.
Hanna Barton, a senior out of Land O'Lakes, Florida joined the IUPUI program prior to this season after swimming the last three years at the University of South Carolina. Barton specializes in the freestyle and butterfly.
Kevin Burke is a graduate out of Bettendorf, Iowa and has been a part of the program for five years. Kevin graduated with a degree in biomedical engineering with a minor in mathematics and is currently working towards a master's degree. Burke holds top ten IUPUI times in the 50 free, 100 free, 100 back and the 100 fly. He earned IUPUI's Mel Garland Distinguished Student-Athlete Award and the Iron Jaguar Award at the 2023 Jag Awards.
Nick Cavanah is a senior out of Marion, Iowa and is pursuing a degree in electrical engineering with a minor in mathematics. Cavanah holds top ten IUPUI times in the 100 back, 200 back and the 200 fly.
Zoe Hendrickx is a senior out of Naples, Florida. She holds top ten times in the 200 fly and 400 IM. Hendrickx helps lead the team's community service efforts as one of their Community Service Captains.
Spencer Jyawook is a senior out of Franklin, Tennessee and is a three-year member of the IUPUI swim program. Spencer holds three individual IUPUI records, with top times in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 fly. Jyawook has also earned Horizon League Swimmer of the Week twice during his career.
Ben Kimmel is a senior out of Roselle, Illinois pursuing a degree in Finance. Kimmel holds top ten IUPUI times in five events, the 200 free, 100 back, 200 back, 100 fly and 200 IM.
Thomas Reedy is a senior from Bloomington, Illinois and holds top ten times in the 100 breast, 200 breast and the 200 IM. Reedy is also one of the teams Community Service Captian, leading the team in their community efforts.
Sadie Smith is a senior out of Mooresville, Indiana, pursuing a degree in social work. Smith holds top ten scores in the 1-meter and 3-meter dive events and has totaled four Horizon League Diver of the Week awards throughout her career.
Lauren Thompson is a graduate out of Greenville, Indiana, pursuing a master's degree in accounting after completely her undergrad with a double major in supply chain management and accounting. Thompson holds top ten time in the 100 back, 200 back, 200 IM and 100 fly. She also serves as IUPUI's representative on the Horizon League's #OneHL group
Lela Wagner is a senior out of Danville, Illinois and is pursuing a degree in Communications Studies with a minor in Psychology. Wagner holds a top ten time in the 200 breast.
The Jags will kick off the swim meet at 4:00 PM.
