INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI women's tennis team were short numbers having to forfeit two singles matches and the number three doubles match putting them behind early in a 4-0 loss to UIndy.
 
Due to sickness, the Jags only had four active players in Wednesday's match. After forfeiting the number three doubles match, Grace Lampman and Sofia Castillo fell at number two doubles, 6-0 sealing the 1-0 lead for the Greyhounds. Meghan Bernard and Emma Dell were down 3-1 at number one doubles when their match went unfinished.
 
Moving into singles play, the Jags were already down 3-0 after losing the doubles point and forfeiting the number five and number six singles matches. Castillo fell at number four singles, 6-2, 6-1. With the match already decided at 4-0 in favor of UIndy, Bernard, Dell and Lampman's matches went unfinished.
 
The Jags will next host Cleveland State at the IUPUI Campus Courts on Saturday with first serve at 11:00 AM.
