CARBONDALE, Ill. – The IUPUI Jaguars and head coach Kate Bruce are coming off their first win of the season at Butler and look to continue that momentum at Southern Illinois on Wednesday, Nov. 16. Tipoff will be at 7 PM on ESPN+.
 
Destiny Perkins showed her clutch gene with a three-pointer late in the fourth quarter against Butler to put the Jags up by six then went on to extend the Jags lead with four free throws in the final minute of the game. Transfer Jazmyn Turner leads the Jaguars, averaging 13 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game. IUPUI enters the weekend 1-2 overall.
 
Southern Illinois is also under new leadership this year with Kelly Bond-White. The Salukis started the season 0-1, after a loss to Middle Tennessee, 90-38. Six SIU players made their debut in the loss.
 
The Jaguars look to even their record out on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at Southern Illinois with tipoff at 7:00 PM.
