INDIANAPOLIS – Head coach
Kate Bruce and the IUPUI Jaguars earn their first win of the 2022 season at Butler, 67-61.
Destiny Perkins showed her clutch gene with a three-pointer late in the fourth quarter to put the Jags up by six then went on to extend the Jags lead with four free throws in the final minute of the game.
"I was really happy with our team's defense today," said head coach Bruce. "We forced 27 turnovers and were able to convert those to points in transition.
