INDIANAPOLIS - The 2021 State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships rosters have been finalized, as announced by Intersport on Wednesday (Mar. 31). IUPUI senior
Elyjah Goss was among those chosen to showcase his dunking talents on a national stage. The 32nd annual event, which will showcase the dunking and long-range shooting talents of the country's most exciting players, will air live on ESPN2 at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday from Hinkle Fieldhouse.
The night features the Great Clips Slam Dunk Championship, the State Farm Men's 3-Point Championship, the Rocket Mortgage Women's 3-Point Championship and the IHOP Team Shootout. The winners of the Men's and Women's 3-Point Championships will then compete in the Rocket Mortgage Battle of the Champions.
Goss, a 6-foot-7 senior, finished as IUPUI's all-time leader in rebounds (880) and led the Horizon League in boards in each of the past two seasons. He finished his career with 76 dunks in an IUPUI uniform and paced the team each of the past two seasons.
"It's an honor to be a part of this national event like this," Goss said. "I was honestly so hyped and excited when I got the phone call. It's time to search back into the bag of tricks for this contest, but regardless of the outcome, it's just a blessing to be selected to compete in this event and I have a lot of fun out there with some of the best dunkers in the country."
