INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI men's and women's swimming teams cruised to victories over Lewis University inside the Natatorium on Saturday (Oct. 2) with the men winning 187-73 and the women winning 179-78.

"What a special moment today for the team. Getting our first win at home against a solid team was a lot of fun," head coach Damion Dennis said. "This meet was a good measuring meet for us. It gives us a chance to really evaluate where we are, how we are able to handle back-to-back meets and how we are doing in our training program.

"Overall, most of our races were faster today and that's a reflection of our athletes. Special thanks to the parents, friends and alumni for coming out and supporting the Jaguars today."
