HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The IUPUI men's soccer team will kickoff a pivotal week on Wednesday (Oct. 13) when the Jaguars face Northern Kentucky on the road at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN+. The Jaguars will cap the week with a road contest at Green Bay on Saturday (Oct. 16) at 2:00 p.m., also on ESPN+.
Head coach
Brian Barnett's team is looking to snap a six-game skid after opening #HLMSOC play with a 1-0 home win over Wright State. Since then, it's been heavy sledding for the Jaguars as they've tallied just two goals during the six-game slide.
While the offense has being stymied in terms of production, the Jags have created chances, averaging 10.67 shot attempts during the six games with four double-digit efforts. IUPUI had a season-high 16 shots and 12 corner kicks against Milwaukee on Oct. 2.
Individually,
Tylin Broaders has a team-high two assists and four different players have a goal scored.
Rayan Choukri and
Tommy Patacca are tied atop the team with 15 shot attempts while
Logan Finnegan has 11 attempts.
Defensively, the IUPUI goalkeeping duo of
Lucas Morefield and
Quinn McCallion have a 1.76 goals against average. Morefield has started eight of the team's 10 games and has a pair of shutouts on the year. Patacca has played a team-high 913, primarily at center back, while senior
Corey Goede has played 904 minutes along the back line.
