INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI Athletics Department saw 136 student-athletes earn a spot on the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll this fall, as announced by the league office on Friday (Jan. 21). IUPUI ranked fifth among the league's 12 schools with 136 honorees.

Candidates for the Honor Roll must meet three criteria in order to qualify:
1) participation in at least one of the League's 19 sports during the most recent (or current) season.
2) completion of three semesters (or four quarters, where applicable) as a full-time student at the same member institution.
3) a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale).

Milwaukee topped the league with 173 honorees as the league awarded 1,467 student-athletes total.
