JAGUARS HEAD TO MUNCIE TO TAKE ON BALL STATE

IUPUI will look to win its second-straight game to start the season.

MUNCIE, Ind. – IUPUI women's basketball tried to move to 2-0 on the season as the Jaguars travel up to Muncie to face off against the Ball State Cardinals on Monday night (Nov. 30). The game against Ball State is set to tip off at 7 p.m.

The game is not being streamed but fans can listen to the game here.

IUPUI comes in to the game 1-0 on the season after an 85-61 win over Northern Illinois last Wednesday (Nov. 25). The Jags were led by senior Macee Williams, who finished the game with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Three other Jaguars finished in double-figures with Destiny Perkins scoring 14 and Sydney Roule and Rachel McLimore each chipping in 12.

Perkins was a stat stuffer in her first game of the season, finishing second on the team with six rebounds, tying for the team lead with five assists and grabbing a team-high three steals. It was Perkins first game after being named the starting point guard to begin the season.

ABOUT BALL STATE
Ball State (0-1) enters the contest having dropped its first game 67-56 to Horizon League foe Milwaukee. The Cardinals struggled from the floor shooting just 37.3% from the field and 4-for-19 from three point range. Thelma Dis Agustsdottir led the way for Ball State with 19 points and seven rebounds but was the only player to reach double-figures.

Ball State entered the fourth quarter against Milwaukee down by just one but was outscored by 10 in the final 10 minutes.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Ball State holds a 5-1 lead in the series but IUPUI took the last matchup between the two teams. The Jaguars beat the Cardinals 65-48 in the season opener last year in Indianapolis.
