JAGS FACE OFF AGAINST MILWAUKEE RIDING SIX-GAME WIN STREAK

IUPUI will look to continue its winning ways against the Panthers on Sunday afternoon.

INDIANAPOLIS – IUPUI takes its six-game winning streak on the road to Wisconsin for the weekend, taking on Milwaukee to close out the weekend trip on Sunday (Jan. 19). The contest against the Panthers will tip off at 3 p.m. ET/2 p.m. CT and will be streamed on ESPN+.

 WILLIAMS DOES IT AGAIN
  • Macee Williams was named Horizon League Player of the Week for the third time this season after averaging 23 points and 8 rebounds in IUPUI's wins over Northern Kentucky and Wright State. It is Williams' sixth Player of the Week award in her career. Williams was also named the College Sports Madness High-Major Player of the Week for the second-straight week
LAST TIME OUT (54-42 win at Green Bay)
  • IUPUI has now won six-straight games and continues to sit on top of the Horizon League standings
  • Rachel McLimore led the Jags with 17 points, while Holly Hoopingarner (11) and Macee Williams (10) also finished in double figures.
  • For the first time in Horizon League play, IUPUI was outscored in the paint as Green Bay held a 22-14 advantage. IUPUI outscored Green Bay by 18 points from behind the arc hitting nine threes to just three for the Phoenix.
  • The Jaguars held Green Bay to just two points in the second quarter, outscoring the Phoenix 13-2 in the frame to take a 15-point lead in to halftime.
 
BATTLING THE PANTHERS
  • IUPUI won both meetings against Milwaukee last season and are 3-1 against the Panthers since joining the Horizon League.
  • The first meeting was a 67-66 overtime win in Milwaukee. Four Jaguars finished in double-figures with Macee Williams leading the way with a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double. Both Sydney Roule and Holly Hoopingarner scored 14 points, going a combined 7-for-11 from downtown.
  • In the season finale, IUPUI dominated the Panthers, winning 76-55. Five Jags reached double-figures as Williams posted yet another double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. The Jags went 10-for-18 from three and went 14-for-17 from the free throw line.
GREEN BAY TRENDS
  • Milwaukee is 3-3 in Horizon League play and is coming off of a win over UIC in their last game. Lizzie Odegard led the Panthers with 15 points and Bre Cera added 10.
  • Through their six league games, Odegard leads the team with 9.7 points per game. Brandi Bisping is scoring 8.8 points per game and pulling down a team-high 6.8 rebounds per game.
  • In their three wins, Milwaukee held their opponent under 60 points but allowed opponents to score at least 60 points in all three losses.
