INDIANAPOLIS - IUPUI head women's cross country coach Antonio McDaniel announced his team's meet schedule for the upcoming 2019 season on Wednesday (July 3), highlighted by five meets inside the Hoosier State before the Horizon League Championships.

The Jaguars will open the regular season with the annual Butler Twilight at Northview Church in Carmel on Aug. 30. McDaniel's team will then run the Crusader Open in Valparaiso on Sept. 6 for back-to-back weekends of competition to start the season.

The Jags will then make their first of two trips to Terre Haute on Sept. 21 when they compete in the John McNichols Invitational against a strong national field. The regular season will continue with an Oct. 4 trip to Notre Dame's Joe Piane Invitational before the Jags then run the Under Armour Pre-National Invitational in Terre Haute on Oct. 19.

IUPUI will compete in the Horizon League Championships in Highland Heights, Ky., on Nov. 2 before then turning attention to the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 15 in Verona, Wisc.

McDaniel's squad boasts a trio of all-league performers from a season ago in Libby Bowling, Morgan Fleming and Katelyn Murphy, along with other key returners in senior Shelby Pake and junior Janine Orvis.

The Jaguars will begin preparations for the upcoming season in August when the student-athletes return to campus.
